is the Irish word for whole or complete. As homoeopathy aims to
treat the whole person as an individual, this was deemed to be
an apt name for a homoeopathic practice.
Maighréad Forde LicICHM ISHom is a fully registered practicing
Classical Homoeopath. She graduated in July 2007 from the Irish
Tralee after completing a 4-year course. Maighréad is now
Homoeopath Maighread Forde of Iomlán Homoeopathy, presenting certificates
of completion to some of the participants in the "Using Homoeopathy in the
Home" course which took place in the Travel Inn, Fossa, during November

What are the advantages of choosing a registered homeopath?
Registered Homoeopaths will have undergone a thorough registration
process that examines and assesses all aspects of their professional
practice. The course Maighréad has completed is a
fully accredited course.
Only homeopaths registered with the Society can use the letters
ISHom after their names. Registered members agree to practise according
to the Society's Code of Ethics and have professional insurance.
If you are in doubt about a practitioner's qualifications, please
contact the Irish Society of Homoeopaths at www.ishom.com
Some healthcare insurance policies will reimburse a proportion
of treatment fees, provided that the homeopath you see is registered
with the Society.
We are lobbying to make this standard practice
with healthcare insurers.
